Team sports require good eye contact.

This communication skill is challenging for people with autism.

When they try to make good eye contact, they instead often look at the person's nose or a single eye. More often, they do not even turn their heads towards a person's face!

What can a person with autism do?
    1. Look at the person, and determine the person's eye color.
    2. Look at the person's eyes for two seconds, and then turn away.
    3. Look back again in about five seconds.
    4. Look at the person every time you ask a question.

    5. Ask a lot of questions!
